What is the Trial Connect Program?

The Trial Connect Program is a no-cost service from North where you allow us to share your health information with clinical trial professionals who may have research studies that could be relevant to your diagnosis and treatment history. This program is designed to help connect you with potentially suitable clinical trial opportunities.

How Does It Work?

When you opt into the Trial Connect Program:

  • Data Review: We analyze your provided health information against current clinical trial eligibility criteria

  • Matching Process: If your information suggests you may be eligible for specific trials, we identify those opportunities

  • Information Sharing: We share relevant portions of your health information with clinical trial professionals who are under contract with North in connection with recruiting patients to enroll in their trials

  • Direct Contact: Trial coordinators may contact you directly to discuss potential participation in their studies

What Information Will Be Shared?

The following information from your profile may be shared with clinical trial professional:

  • Medical Information: Including cancer type, stage, diagnosis date, treatment history, current medications, prior treatments, oncologist, treatment facility, and relevant test results

  • Demographic Information: Age, sex, location (zip code/city/state)

  • Contact Information: Name, phone number, and email address

  • General Health Status: Performance status, major medical conditions, and other health factors relevant to trial eligibility


We will NOT share information that is not directly relevant to clinical trial eligibility screening.

Who Will Receive Your Information?

Under the Trial Connect Program, your information will only be shared with:

  • Clinical trial coordinators at accredited research institutions

  • Principal investigators conducting FDA-regulated clinical trials

  • Research staff at hospitals, cancer centers, and approved research organizations

  • Contract research organizations (CROs) conducting legitimate clinical trials


All recipients are required to:

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of your information

  • Use your information solely for clinical trial recruitment purposes

  • Follow all applicable privacy and security regulations


Withdrawal of Consent:

You may withdraw your consent and participation in the Trial Connect Program at any time by emailing us at support@northtrials.com. When you withdraw consent, we will stop sharing your information with new trial coordinators immediately.


Relationship to Our Privacy Policy

The Trial Connect Program works together with North’s Privacy Policy. While our Privacy Policy governs our general collection, use, and protection of your information, your consent to this program specifically authorizes us to share your information with external clinical trial professionals for recruitment purposes.


We may update the terms of the Trial Connect Program from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an “Last Updated" date and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible. If we make material changes, we may notify you either by prominently posting a notice of such changes or by directly sending you a notification by email.
